Biography
Mesfin Yitbarek is a civil engineer with experience in highway design, road construction coordination and office engineering. His CV lists a Highway Engineer role with Big-Vision, with assignments on internal asphalt roads in Jigjiga and the Horra–Harisa and Mubarek–Kakabanya gravel roads.
His responsibilities include horizontal and vertical alignment design, road cross-sections, drainage and pavement details, engineering drawing reviews and bills of quantities. Earlier positions include Project Office Engineering Head, Construction Engineer and Deputy Project Manager, with responsibilities for site coordination, interim payment certificates, schedules and contract documentation.
He holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Addis Ababa University’s Institute of Technology, with a thesis in geometric and pavement design. His technical tools include Civil 3D, MX Road, Eagle Point, AutoCAD, SAP and Excel.
